The Bed & Breakfast Locanda Della Fonteis located in a building of new construction in the "alta Maremma" country, surrounded by olive trees, cypresses and fruit trees. The house has been done according to the standard of the Tuscan style with raftering ceilings and lime painted plasters. In the B&B you can find sober, comfortable and very welcoming rooms; a 45 sm. arcade where it is possible to have breakfast, to read, to relax. You will also find a nice swimming pool (m 5 x m 10 x m 1,5 deep) situated in a large sunny area where it is possible to enjoy the magnificent surrounded landscape. Swimming pool towel rental: 5.00 Euro. Few meters far from the B&B there is an old "casale" where the owners live and welcome you at your arrival.
Check-in: the rooms are available from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in case of different times a previous agreement is necessary. Check-out: rooms must be left within 10:30 am.

The B&B has 6 double rooms, some of them have an independent entrance. All rooms have en-suite bathroom with shower. They are furnished in a simple and essential way, with a little touch of a ‘provençal style’. In the property there are no TV, infact, the B&B is for people taht are looking for moments of total abstraction from every day life in the quiet Tuscan country.

The B&B is situated about 1,5 km from the centre of Monteverdi Marittimo, a medieval village of the upper Maremma Tuscan, located in a hilly area, about 15 km from the sea of Marina di Castagneto. From this nice village near Pisa it is easy to reach in a short time many important historical and artistic places such as Volterra, Massa Marittima, Suvereto, spas Venturina, Populonia not forget Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri. Florence, Siena and Pisa are located at a maximum of two hours by car. It is also possible to find in the area many paths on foot or on horseback through the woods and countryside.
